Acension

Overview

Ascension. These are two characters (Dmitri and Eva) I’ve had since I was about twelve years old, over the years I’ve had a story of the two of the play in my head, creating scenes that later on I would draw out as key anchor points in their story. This scene is one of the most important anchor points,  Dimitri losing his sister and being overcome with too many emotions.

I decided to make this into a movie poster, since these are key scenes to their story it’s fitting to frame it as one that you could watch. This was also a way for me to combine both my illustration and graphic design skills, to enhance the project.
