Emergence

Overview

This illustration is of an old character of mine Eva, it’s a simple scene that continues a story that’s been played out in my head for years, and only recently is starting to take shape through a series of illustrations.

The focus here was using a limited and pale color pallete, but still creating a vibrant and interesting scene. To do this I played with the use of light, with multiple sources bouncing off of Eva that would guide the viewer through the scene.
